Creating Healthy Neighborhoods
Healthy neighborhoods are the backbone of American society. Two key elements to healthy neighborhoods are the involvement of residents and cooperation between local government and the community. Adams County, through the creation of the Southwest Adams County Framework for Future Planning, has established a process for county residents to create their own organized citizen groups to strengthen their neighborhoods and to represent them in official business with the county.
